
Shazam partners with Rdio to bring full length streams within iOS app
Popular music discovery app Shazam has released an update to its iOS version that allows users who Shazam a tune to hear the full length track rather than just a preview. This new feature is powered by streaming service Rdio and will be free to subscribers of both products. If you have Rdio installed, after Shazam-ing a tune you can click on the play button to hear the full version of the track. If you don’t yet have Rdio, Shazam will prompt you to download it. Shazamed tracks are also input into an Rdio playlist, so keeping track of your newly discovered music is now easier than ever. The updated app also includes enhanced sharing capabilities via Facebook, and an update for Android users will be available in the next few days.
