Watch This: Diplo teases new Jack U hit, readies fans for next EP
Coming out of the woodwork this year with a mind-blowing Ultra set and a confirmed album delivery, Jack U has transformed from a skeptically dismissed rumor to a full-fledged collaboration from two of the industry’s greatest. Major Lazer‘s front man and twerk connoisseur Diplo previews a brand new tune he’s been working on with long time pal Sonny Moore. Seen at a waterfront day show in Paris, Diplo introduces the still unnamed track with an appreciated disclaimer; although “it sounds like shit,” it features a female vocal lead and quickly morphs into a trappy, festival ready anthem. With Diplo’s Random White Dude Be Everywhere compilation out tomorrow on Mad Decent and a highly anticipated EZoo performance looming on the horizon, the Skrillex-Diplo combo leaves fans with a lot to look forward to in the upcoming weeks.
