AC Slater announces new EP on OWSLA, drops new heater ‘Everyday’
AC Slater‘s newest is that swift slap in the face you give yourself after that first look in the mirror of the day. It’s that spicy shot of whiskey in your coffee, packing a nasty hook that refuses to be taken as anything less than a direct order; get up bitch, get up bitch, get up bitch, get up. Stepping away from his newly established Night Bass imprint for his latest, AC Slater leads his Skrillex-championed OWSLA debut, Take The Night, with “Everyday.”
The track is clamorous and clangy as AC crosses mean footwork appeal with cool future-house finesse. Accenting the track’s knocking steel punches with a sample that packs enough #motivationmoday for the entire week, AC drops a commanding, inventive, and as always funky original ahead of his upcoming EP. Following up one of Nest’s earliest free releases, AC Slater will be taking it up a notch on Take The Night, due out August 7th via OWSLA Records.
