Whether you are a supporter of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge or not, its grip on the national attention span is one not seen since Gangnam Style and is simply unprecedented in the world of fundraising. Everyone and their mother has been challenged to douse and/or donate, and DJs have joined up with tech titans, movie stars and athletes as another high-profile group of participants helping to put the money where the ice is for ALS research. August 12th – The Chainsmokers accept challenge from industry friend at Big Beat, challenge Tiësto, Adventure Club, and 3lau
August 13th – Adventure Club and 3lau attempt to accept challenge. After sound failure on the video, 3lau challenges fans to donate $25 to Every 90 Minutes foundation started by friend diagnosed with ALS and pledges to match those donations up to $3,000.
