Maybe take this title with a grain of salt. Just maybe. David Guetta’s right-hand men Daddy’s Groove are back at it, and once again teaming up with frequent collaborators Cryogenix. Historically, both entities have done damage while working together, having gone on a streak in doing so last year with efforts such as “Tilt” and “Vertigo.” Now upon Ultra Records the production team offer up “Blackout,” a sonic surge that encourages anyone or anything in its path to do just that. Not the signature that Daddy’s Groove and Cyrogenix worked up in 2013, “Blackout” draws upon rhythm and melody opposed to their previous big room core.
