Hervé‘s produced everything from piano-driven vocal house anthems to blog house bangers in the past half-decade or so. Though many artists experiment with various genres, few do it with the grace of Hervé. His most recent effort is “Whistle,” a UK garage- and fidget house-influenced track taken from his forthcoming Hate On Me EP. The song samples Too $hort’s classic “Blow the Whistle,” but interestingly doesn’t include the iconic question, “What’s my favorite word?” The familiar vocals and shrill whistle pair perfectly with Hervé’s intense instrumental work, and “Whistle” as a whole is a surefire staple for late-night sets.
