Mat Zo revives his drum and bass side with free Chromeo remix
For Mat Zo, the free music just keeps coming. With his new label Mad Zoo launched, this looks to be the way things are from now on. After inaugurating his new imprint with two free releases last week, Mat returns with a delightful new remix of Chromeo’s “Lost On the Way Home.”
As many know, Zo began his career producing drum and bass under the name MRSA. His latest work is an ode to those days, albeit with a good dose of cheerful Mat Zo flair. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen him revive his previous life as a drum and bass producer. Back in April, Mat remixed the Lion King classic “Circle of Life” into an innovative D&B song before collaborating with Kill the Noise on the epic “Kill the Zo Part I.”
