Porter Robinson releases official video for ‘Flicker’
As the fourth single from Porter Robinson’s debut album to hit the open market, “Flicker” was a nod to what got the American producer into electronic music in the first place. He’s noted that the music in Japanese video games was what inspired him to begin producing, and the official music video for “Flicker” features an excess of symbolism. From the 8-bit explosions and flowers blossoming to flashes of anime characters hovering over a city, the video is perfect visual representation of how incredible the original mix is. While you can now hear the Worlds story in its entirety, the “Flicker” chapter comes to life in stunning color in Porter’s latest video.
