Is there a better way to start a mixtape then a recorded vocal cosign from Kanye West’s creative director? That’s exactly what Jersey Club super collective Athletixx did, and they certainly live up to the expectations they bring forth with a daring debut to their career. Composed of the genre churning Promnite and Falcons, Fool’s Gold darling Hoodboi, and queen of the 808s, Kittens, the group grabs attention for their solo efforts but sticks for the enjoyability of their sound. A compromise of their individual signatures and whipped up with an urban atmosphere, All-Stars Mixtape Vol. 1 features unreleased and fan-favorite jams throughout, and has the latest genre to gain traction abuzz with excitement.
