Making its commercial debut alongside a strangely unexpected product line, RL Grime and Baauer‘s powerful track “Infinite Daps” highlights Pantene’s new ‘Split End Repair and Protection’ line of shampoos and conditioners. While supermodel Gisele Bündchen flips her silky smooth hair back and forth, the ticking breakdown of “Infinite Daps” plays behind a narration of how to achieve healthy hair. Several amusing YouTube comments like “Turnt up for healthy hair!” and “Infinite split ends” confirm the questionability of whether the trap anthem fits within Pantene’s glossy brand image, but all jokes aside, RL Grime and Baauer can celebrate as one of the trap genre’s first artists to cross over into general pop culture.
