ADE announces hands-on industry leader sessions and more for 2014 edition

Stateside, industry folk and hailed talents begin buzzing about Miami Music Week months ahead of of the springtime showcase, but come fall, Holland rises as the pinnacle of dance music mayhem by hosting the annual Amsterdam Dance Event each October. Besides a plethora of electronic music showcases and ADE’s proud Amsterdam Music Festival, the five day gathering encourages any and all industry people – producers, managers, journalists, record labels, and even fans – to join in on the many interactive activities and events happening throughout.

The first of which is ADE’s MusicTalks, a two-day portion of the program that invites attendees to conduct their own discussions and interviews with several hailed dance music leaders. This year, MusicTalks will place Sander van Doorn, Nicky Romero, Showtek, Hans Zimmer, Boy George, Junkie XL, and Chris Liebing in the hot seat to answer any audience-directed questions. ADE advises those interested to prepare questions and arrive early, as the event will follow a first come, first serve policy.

ADE has also set up an invaluable opportunity for any hopeful producers that may be roaming around Amsterdam during the mid-October mayhem. 18 label representatives and other industry professionals will be gathered on October 18th for an open round of one-on-one listening and advisory sessions. The chance to sit down with someone from Ultra Music, Spinnin’ Records, Armada Music and many more could be just the breakthrough moment that some up-and-coming talents are looking for. To secure a spot for the music one-on-one, tickets are available here.

One of ADE’s highly anticipated upcoming Shape of the Future conference events is the keynote Q&A session with Merlin Network’s CEO, Charles Caldas. As a leading pioneer for indie labels in 39 countries, his own personal and business objective is to maintain and improve rights and financial standings for the ‘indie label.’ On October 15th, Caldas will speak to the future of Merlin and their future plans and focuses. Tickets for the talk can be purchased here.

These three events only begin to skim the surface of what ADE has to offer its audience this year. For the complete list of all events including shows, talks, interactive events and more, take a look at the ADE program here.
