Calvin Harris previews ‘Blame’ in its entirety
Initially previewed via Instagram two weeks ago, “Blame” has all the hallmarks of another smash hit from the highest paid DJ in the world. What quickly followed was three brief clips in Youtube and now, Calvin Harris has revealed the full production. Albeit short, clocking in at just over three and a half minutes, “Blame” blends the superstar’s radio-ready aptitude with his electronic pedigree. Dominated by John Newman’s vocals at times, the original mix eventually relents into a plunge of electropop synths. The collaboration may not come along with the impact that “Summer” did, but “Blame” still epitomizes what has made Calvin Harris one of music’s most lauded producers.
