Kygo’s freshly inked deal with Sony Music and Ultra is still drying, but the Norwegian talent is already churning out new originals with a new partner. Within a matter of 24 hours in the studio together, Dillon Francis and Kygo have apparently already created a new bit of dance music magic. After teasing fans via social media, Dillon uploaded a short preview of the studio time results.
Though only played for a few seconds, the Francis and Kygo collab builds with a unique chillwave body and slamming future bass breakdowns, hinting at a sound reminiscent of Flume’s genre-bending style. As his Tweet reads and enthusiastic smile suggests, Dillon Francis is thrilled about the outcome both in his Instagram preview and as he captions the video: “Gonna be working with [Kygo] tons more cuz he rules and we make a great team.”
