DJ Mag and Armada Music call on producer hopefuls to create the ‘Top 100 DJs Anthem’ and win a trip to Amsterdam
While for most, participation in the DJ Mag Top 100 contest is limited to merely voting for their favorite acts, the magazine has opened the doors to allow one hopeful talent a chance to shine alongside superstar DJs. Together with Armada Music, up and coming acts will have a chance to create the ‘Top 100 DJs Anthem,’ a track that will both open and close the awards ceremony in Amsterdam and be released on Armada Music. It wouldn’t be a winning moment if the producer wasn’t able to experience the live debut of their track, so the prize also includes an all-expenses paid flight to Amsterdam for the ceremony, a meet and greet with the still undecided new No. 1 DJ and a priceless opportunity to network with industry folk and other top DJs.
For those curious about details on how to enter, all DJ Mag requires is submission of an original track under nine minutes long sent directly and in downloadable format to top100anthem@djmag.com along with contact information. Though there is no genre limitation, DJ Mag kindly reminds any potential contest entrants that this track will be the awards show “anthem,” and should feel fitting to the context. A panel will narrow the submission down to 10 track favorites and turn to the public for a popular vote. Producers have until September 18th to be considered.
