Almost one month after conceding on their big room uniformity for Zoo Brazil and Per QX’s “Save Us,” Size Records has returned to the forefront of electronic music’s release circuit. On the same day in which the label unleashed “ID2” from Swedish upstarts Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman, Hunter Siegel and Todd Terry’s “Time To Blackout” has his Beatport. Standing alongside “New School Renegade“, which we premiered last week, the collaboration is half of the release’s two-track offering. The less heavy-set of the two original mixes, “Time To Blackout” crafts its rhythm around industrial synths with next to no melodic tendencies. With Still Young’s long-awaited “Midnight” arriving next week, Size Records‘ unstoppable run has continued well beyond the blistering heat of their summer outputs.
