Lana Del Rey’s “Ultraviolence” receives yet another remix, this time from Canada’s bass maestro Datsik. Del Rey’s melancholic vocals receive a gorgeous makeover from Troy Beetles, pairing her trademark howls with a startling cocktail of sand-blasted sub bass and twinkling electro arpeggios. A bit less aggressive than his usual outputs, Datsik installs some gentle piano rolls under the original’s own haunting siren song, resulting in our favorite “Ultraviolence” remix to date.
