The Magician releases music video for ‘Sunlight,’ announces tour
Whereas most artists have very definite strengths and weaknesses, The Magician seems only to have strengths. His Magic Tapes have been adored since day one, his remixes of Lykke Li’s “I Follow Rivers” and Clean Bandit’s “Rather Be” are enormous hits in both the indie and mainstream worlds, and his forthcoming single “Sunlight” is positively anthemic. What’s more, he just released a music video for the song, which recently topped Hype Machine’s Popular Chart and is a guaranteed play on his just-announced tour. In the video, a hefty beachgoer walks along the sand, spreading small miracles along the way. It’s not a particularly deep video, but it’s an absolutely perfect fit for the song: warm, charming, and fun to the core.
“Sunlight (feat. Years and Years)” will be available September 30th via FFRR Records/Potion, and the Magician’s upcoming tour dates are listed below.
