Martin Garrix shows off his Headhunterz collaboration at Ultra Japan
While thousands of fans descended on Chattahoochee Hills in Georgia for TomorrowWorld, another festival was dominating the airwaves on the other side of the world. Ultra Japan touched down this weekend with a main stage lineup to rival its American peer and brought with it all the compressed kicks and breakneck EDM that tiny island country could handle.
Martin Garrix found his name on both lineups this past weekend, but it was during his Ultra Japan set that the young producer showed off his forthcoming collaboration with hardstyle spokesman, Headhunterz. The track, thought to be titled “Once Again,” appeared midway through his set – mixed into Congorock and Nom De Strip’s “Minerals.” The unofficial rip is a bit low quality, but it provides a solid preview of what these two have been cooking up in the studio together — a certifiable main stage monster.
