Mary J. Blige shares Disclosure produced ‘Right Now’
It was only a matter of days ago that both Disclosure and Mary J. Blige revealed to The Guardian that they were indeed working together. Swiftly following the two artist’s admission of an impending collaboration, the nine time Grammy Award winner has officially previewed “Right Now.” Not getting lost among the superstar’s influence or swooning vocals, Guy and Howard’s touch is immediately recognizable and unmistakable. As the thirty second mark comes and goes, a concise, bouncing synth appears before relenting and making way for a snare-heavy buildup.
Disclosure have proven they’re more than willing to dive into the world outside of electronic music and “Right Now” proves that they’re talents enhance even the most critically-acclaimed artists. Not having their style pushed to the side, the United Kingdom’s golden boys have showcased their true potential alongside one of music’s biggest stars. Mary J. Blige’s “The London Sessions” will be released in November.
