Watch This: A first look at Zac Efron’s new dance music film, ‘We Are Your Friends’

First revealed by Deadline back in July, Catfish director Max Joseph’s forthcoming film “We Are Your Friends” will revolve around the life of a 23-year old DJ named Cole, who is “working on the one track that will set the world on fire.” The tables turn once Cole meets a more experienced DJ, James, who eventually becomes a mentor-like figure for the aspiring musician. As the plot thickens, Cole begins to fall for James’ girlfriend, Sophie (Emily Ratajkowski of “Blurred Lines” video fame) and sees his friendships, career and life turn upside down.
A recently released video from the director gives the first of what promises to be a series of looks into the world of the Justice-titled feature film, which will see release in 2015.
