Monstercat celebrates three years in three minutes
During the last three years, Canada’s most successful electronic music imprint has released over ten #1 iTunes dance music compilations, sold over one million singles, and recently launched its radio show in over seventeen countries. Now celebrating its third birthday, Monstercat has tasked Didrick for a special mashup and released another one of their famous compilations.
Clocking in at just over three minutes, the mashup features a total of seventy-eight songs that have all found their way into the label’s catalogue of music. In addition to the fast and furious mashup, Monstercat’s most recent compilation album has also landed on iTunes. With music from Throttle, the Pegboard Nerds, and Overwerk among many others, the 31-track album is a showcase of the imprint’s innate ability to see talent before they’ve blossomed into electronic music heavyweights.
