Pioneer denies plans to sell DJ equipment business

Reuters recently reported that Pioneer would be selling off its DJ equipment business to the tune of $570 million. The sale has since been denied by Pioneer in an official press release where the equipment retailer admits to exploring possible sale options but denies any definitive sale of its DJ division. “No decisions have been made,” the press release states.
Where this leaves the industry leader is hard to say, the denial is brief and the sources are shaky, but there is definitely something stirring over at Pioneer headquarters.
