SFX adds Liz Miller to its commanding executive roster
By now, you’ve undoubtedly experienced SFX in some way. Be it Beatport purchases, ticket purchases on the Flavorus platform, Tomorrowland, Mysteryland, or Electric Zoo among so many others, SFX is at the leading edge of the ever-expanding global dance music market, and the promotion powerhouse agglomeration is not slowing down anytime soon. In fact, it seems as though SFX is continuing to hire and acquire the biggest names in the industry, their latest new hire being Liz Miller.
Liz Miller has already had an illustrious career in dance music, and has played an integral role in the astronomical expansion of dance music’s popularity in recent years. Most recently, Miller was the general manager of Atlantic’s Big Beat Records. You may know Big Beat as the name behind Skrillex and his triple-Grammy-winning Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites EP, as well as the support behind the likes of Chromeo, David Guetta, Galantis, and Hot Natured to name a few. Early in her career, Miller has also held an instrumental role in the development and establishment of Beatport, which has since become the world’s leading online electronic dance music store.
In her new role at SFX, Miller will serve as the Vice President of Artists and Labels. As one of the most widely respected figures in the dance music industry, Miller’s decision to move to SFX signifies a new chapter in the company’s ever-expanding influence on the electronic zeitgeist.
