There’s an ecstasy-based art exhibit in London

Pillcaso turns ecstasy into works of art

The artist who created the famed Ministry of Sound logo dives deeper into the electronic music zeitgeist with his latest work, an ecstasy-themed exhibit that bridges the gap between friend and foe.  Dubbed Chemical X, the pieces aim to re-examine “an old friend or perhaps a feared enemy,” presenting the pressed pills in unique and “acid-house” friendly ways.

The last time he tried to present this show it was canceled due to the fact that these pieces are actually created with thousands of real ecstasy pills – making their existence highly illegal.

The work is now on display at The Ark in London from September 26th to October 2nd.
