Tiësto is the wealthiest DJ on the planet, Martin Garrix is the youngest millionaire in dance music
After Forbes released its Electronic Cash Kings feature, the world reeled at the price tags some of the world’s top DJs were pulling in each year. At $66 million, Calvin Harris secured himself a top spot for 2014’s list, but in the grand scheme of things Celebrity Net Worth still places Tiësto higher on charts. Valued at $90 million, Tiesto is the richest DJ on the planet besting Harris by a cool $20 mil — but he’s been at it for 20 years. Martin Garrix, however, is a newcomer to the dance music space and has already become the wealthiest teenager in dance music. Hot on the trail of Zedd’s $15 million net worth, Garrix falls just short at $14 million – a number that will continue to rise with the oversight of one of entertainments biggest managers, Scooter Braun.
It’s not only new school EDM on the list — Daft Punk’s Thomas and Guy-Man sit comfortably at the 5 and 6 spots with $60 million each making them the wealthiest DJ duo ever.
