Time Warp Festival launches New York Edition in time for Thanksgiving Weekend
The EDM explosion in the US has helped foster the rise in popularity of many large-scale dance festivals, predominantly exhibiting sounds that have developed into today’s mainstream dance music. As American EDM enthusiasts begin to experiment and dive deeper into dance music’s vast underground, not only do tastes mature and expand, the diversity of festival options has followed suit.
Celebrating its 20th year anniversary, Time Warp Festival has announced its inaugural expansion into the States for this Thanksgiving weekend on Saturday, November 29th. After a successful debut in Buenos Aires, Argentina, during May this year, the acclaimed indoor German techno institution now has its sights set on New York City.
Time Warp Festival is largely celebrated for its overall high standards of event production and artist recruitment alike. Over its long history, the festival has hosted the best and brightest techno has to offer including Sven Väth, Richie Hawtin, Carl Cox, John Digweed, Laurent Garnier, Luciano, Ricardo Villalobos, Loco Dice, Marco Carola, Chris Liebing, Dubfire, Jamie Jones, Dixon, and many more. Promising to deliver an equally impressive line up of the world’s finest techno and house music artists, Time Warp plans to execute the same superior experience in New York City as its predecessors, from creating extravagant stage designs and dance floors, to cutting-edge video, lighting and laser technology integration.
