Baauer is back with ‘ß’

Anyone who might have thought that “Harlem Shake” should define Baauer‘s catalog was terribly mistaken. As former critics continue eating their words, Baauer’s forthcoming ß EP, due next week, is now available to stream in full. As we’d expect, the whole five-track production is phenomenally edgy. Boasting incredibly evident growth and resolve, Baauer is back with a new EP that may be one of the most praiseworthy releases of the year.

The “Clang” producer delivers two stellar cuts of his crossover collaboration with AlunaGeorge and Rae Sremmurd “One Touch.” The clear chemistry between Baauer’s shoulder-shaking groove and Aluna Francis’s luminous vocals leads the release and closes it with the VIP mix. In between, “Floreana” explores ambient soundscapes while “Boog” hunkers down low with tribal drum rhythms. “Swoopin” rounds off the EP with grimy, mean-mug appeal as a stomping bulldozer of a track that delivers the knockout punch of the collection.

Offering up a handful of top-notch new jams that are eclipsing Baauer’s YouTube-dominating, inescapable first hit, ß represents Baauer’s true potential and reflects the young producer in his very best form with five brand new tracks.

Release Date: November 4th via LuckyMe Records.

You probably need more Baauer now. We’ve got you covered.
