BPM Festival announces Phase 1 of its mega techno lineup
With Ibiza’s summer parties wrapping up, all attention turns to the next big techno gathering of the year: The BPM Festival. The event is consistently one of the most talked about events in dance music — and for good reason: its lineups are comparable to none. You won’t find your Hardwells and David Guettas here, however. The BPM Festival is an all-out showcase of the world’s top techno, tech house and house artists with an emphasis on underground talent — a far cry from your standard North American EDM festival.
This year’s installment will run from January 9-18 in Mexico’s Playa del Carmen, making it a total of ten days of techno and tequila in the sun. As usual, the lineup is dangerously on point. Marco Carola, Dixon, Tale of Us, Joris Voorn, Maya Jane Coles, Carl Cox, John Digweed… do we really need to go on?
