Diplo shares new tune ‘Everyday’ for free

While on the heels of projects such as his two-hour Hip-Hop Month mix and Florida reissue, it seems Wes’s creative ear has recently shifted gears away from his contemporary hyping, explosive sound. Generously sharing his latest creation with the masses, the simply titled “Everyday” perpetuates Diplo’s recent trip-hop homecoming. The song’s mellow and dreamy atmosphere breathes harmonious life to the hazily alluring vocal loop, with a hip-hop inspired drum kit to give the piece suitable flow. Returning back to basics seems to be Diplo’s most current focus, with “Everyday” providing strong evidence that the Mad Decent mogul can still champion his original style.
