Feed Me & Kill The Noise – Far Away (Original Mix)
Feed Me and Kill The Noise are two of the most celebrated bass music veterans in dance music, and are both defined by their high voltage electro house and dubstep offerings. With their latest material, however, the pair link up to deliver a bit of a departure from their usual outputs, heading in a different direction on their new collaboration. With KTN currently helming the Majestic as Fak Tour across the country and Feed Me having just confirmed a new Spor album, these two giants appear to be as busy as can be, but thankfully they both had time to connect on “Far Away.”
Rather than a searing dubstep or drum n’ bass monster, the little green deviant and his skull-faced Slowroast counterpart opt for a melodic, feel-good selection, incorporating vocal work by a UK school choir for a friendly hook to ride over an arrangement of jovial chords. The tune breaks into a thumping electro house drop, but keeps close to the track’s chipper theme. “Far Away” is definitely a new style to both seasoned producers, and the result is an animated, catchy cut that could turn any day around.
