HARD Day of the Dead set times have arrived
Nowadays, it seems like set times bring about more anxiety than relief. Rather than elating at our favorite artist’s time slot, we find ourselves cursing the schedule for its myriad of conflicts. At the end of the day, it’s impossible to make everyone happy, and choosing between artists like Bassnectar and Claude VonStroke is not the worst problem to have all things considered.
As you can imagine, the set times for HARD Day of the Dead are riddled with tough decisions. On Saturday, Deadmau5 and Eric Prydz will be playing a two-hour set but you’ll have to miss Knife Party, Jamie Jones, and ODESZA if you’re committing to the whole performance (which you would be wise to do). Recent lineup addition Zhu has snagged a 7:20pm set time while you’ll have to choose between Diplo and Gesaffelstein at 8:15pm.
Sunday doesn’t get much easier — the headliner conflict of Bassnectar, Claude VonStroke and RL Grime is the most obvious, but perhaps the toughest of the day is Zeds Dead, Justin Martin, Cashmere Cat, and Booka Shade at 8:30 (as well as Zedd for the more commercially inclined). Ultimately, these things are inevitable and the multitude of time conflicts only speaks to the strength of the lineup.
