International Music Summit makes inaugural expansion to Singapore this December
On December 11th, the International Music Summit presented by Pete Tong will host its inaugural Asia-Pacific event at the W Singapore Hotel in Singapore. The acclaimed thought leadership platform has been a major educational and inspirational outlet for the celebration and advancement of the electronic music industry since its Ibiza-founded inception in 2007. In regards to the eastward expansion, IMS co-founder and industry mogul Ben Turner has stated:
“This event has been created to unite the Asia-Pacific industry but also to educate and entertain delegates from around the world about this incredible frontier which is finally opening up in a huge way to electronic music culture.”
Electronic and dance music’s explosive rise to prominence makes this an opportune moment for Asian leaders to connect with key European and American figures and share knowledge through panels, keynote interviews and speeches, workshops and tutorials. An IMS hub in a Pacific region such as Singapore poses a unique window for growth and evolution in the electronic music industry, in addition to an already established presence in Los Angeles.
