Klaves – People (Original Mix)
We’re in the year of stock phrasing ‘deep house’ for commercial purposes and generally accepting that house music is back on the bend of global domination. The perception and coinages may be a little skewed at best, but the rush of talent is not to be shrugged. Cue Poland’s Klaves, a European upstart who has very much made his own unique mark at a time of all-out renewal of the genre’s lifeblood on dance floors and beyond. PMR Beat Club has lapped up his latest and possibly greatest original cut to date, brining a little soul and phlegmatic energy to the table in a big way. “People” grooves delicately and builds with intricate melodic stamina, offering an easy moving spotlight on where tropical hallmarks and instrumental panache can be used in a subtle yet immediately effective way. Klaves quite simply stamps his own brandage on the sound of modern house music and with no sign of a silly sub-genre handle to his name yet, fans new and old can relish in the handiwork of an artist showing some serious promise for country and craft alike.
