The Essential Mix brought their tape recorders to Space Ibiza last Sunday to record the legendary Carl Cox during his, and the club’s, final set of the 2014 summer. A closing ceremony for one of the White Isle’s most iconic locales 25th anniversary, Cox brought 2-hour’s of grinding tech house outside on the club’s world-renowned terrace. A snapshot of the 2014 summer in Ibiza, Cox aimed – and succeeded – in capturing not only the magic of the world’s pre-eminent clubbing destination but also the house music that bounces off its idyllic shorelines.
