MK, Lee Foss, and Anabel Englund announce debut Pleasure State EP
House music’s hedonistic super group is here, and they go by the name of Pleasure State. The pop-savvy minds of MK, Lee Foss, and Anabel England are the basis for the group, and if it’s anything like Hot Creations’s previous mega crew Hot Natured, we can expect plenty of sexy productions to come.
The formation isn’t exactly a new affair; rather, it’s a collaboration that has been brewing over time. The story goes something like this: two years ago, Anabel Englund met Lee Foss at a show in LA — one week later they wrote “Electricity” with MK in Lee’s kitchen. Inspired by that moment, the trio endeavored to take things to the next level. Hence, Pleasure State was born.
As of yesterday, the trio have announced their debut release, Ghost In The System. The EP includes three tracks with new originals “Ghost In The System” and “Subject Matter” as well as a 12-minute Carl Craig remix of 2012’s “Electricity.”
