A-Trak and Andrew Wyatt of Miike Snow team up on ‘Push’

To introduce his upcoming EP, it appears A-Trak has taken a page out of big brother Dave1, of Chromeo‘s,  playbook. Ahead of the release of his Full EP due out next week via Fool’s Gold Records, A-Trak put together a funky dance number with Miike Snow’s Andrew Wyatt called “Push.” Following up his trap-heavy Low Pros productions, A-Trak leans more towards the Duck Sauce sound to deliver an irresistibly poppy selection that reflects electro-house that’s a little softer around the edges, while still incorporating a lively dance-floor-designed shuffle to it.

The Brooklyn-based hometown hero linked up with Miike Snow‘s frontman Andrew Wyatt to lend his vocals to the collaborative project, and the singer/songwriter delivers an ultra-catchy, melodic hook that appropriately ties the tune together. While A-Trak slices and clips vocals throughout the track’s chorus, “Push” rides over lively piano chords, making for a tasty crossover jam.

Boasting his unmatched ability to cruise between genres and production styles, “Push” provides the perfect peek at what we can expect A-Trak’s forthcoming EP to offer.
