Yellow Claw – Kaolo Pt. 2 (Angger Dimas Remix)
Remember when Angger Dimas flew onto everybody’s radar with his 2012 WMC anthem “Release Me” featuring Polina? Well, this isn’t that Angger Dimas. The last year has seen him hard at work on a variety of trap-influenced projects, and this recent remix of Yellow Claw’s “Kaolo Pt. 2” gives us a pretty good idea of just how versatile of a producer he is. The build-ups are a bit too frenetic to merit many replays, but when it comes to laying down hard, brawny, feel-it-under-your-skin percussion, the remix delivers a swift and flawless bulls-eye hit. It’s part of a compilation of remixes to last summer’s Amsterdam Trap Music Vol. 2 by Yellow Claw. Containing edits by artists like Coone, Wiwek and Ape Drums, the EP is scheduled to drop October 28.
