Carl Craig announces ‘Detroit Love’ tour and coinciding album
When pitted against electronic music legends from the genre’s oldest and most distinguished cities, Carl Craig‘s resume is as impressive as anyone’s. The Detroit-raised veteran can boast about an extremely long list of accomplishments and now, the techno legend has announced his newest endeavor.
Coinciding with the release of his first album in seven years which will arrive sometime in 2015, Carl Craig will be embarking on a tour that stretches through next year. Beginning in Tokyo, Japan before stopping in Miami, New York City, England, and France, the “Detroit Love” tour will see the DJ using a new technical set up with four-deck mixing, looping, live editing, and sampling. More cities were announced without dates, as Carl Craig hinted about upcoming shows at Movement Detroit, Sonar, and in both Berlin and Ibiza.
November 14th– Detroit Love @ Liquid Room, Tokyo
December 5th– Detroit Love @ Trade, Miami
December 6th– Detroit Love @ Verboten, NYC
March 14th – Detroit Love @ Bloc, Minehead
March 25th – Detroit Love @ Trade, Miami
May 15th – Detroit Love @ Nuites Sonnores, France
