Cash Cash‘s latest original was an effortless blend between the group’s mainstage expertise and radio-ready appeal. Following two remixes that arrived almost one month following the original mix’s release, the trio have taken it upon themselves to provide a new version of “Surrender.” Gone are the heavy kicks, subtle snares, and sturdy snyths which built the Big Beat release’s framework, while soothing guitar plucks mend flawlessly with a redone bassline and re-hauled focus. This acoustic mix may not be primed to tear through festival stages anytime soon, but it serves as another example of Cash Cash’s diverse ability in the studio.
