Quietly up-and-coming Australian production duo Señor Roar are subtly gaining momentum as they team up with Main Course Records for the release of their latest roof-raising material. Inserting a foot in the door and simultaneously widening the variety of sounds already emanating from down under, Señor Roar delivers their newest jam, “Jenga,” as a limited time free download. Touching on all of the styles that the pair are building their names upon, “Jenga” is a winding rump-shaker that ties together trap elements, big room fine points, and up-tempo dance hall accents to make for a refreshing blend of multiple sounds.

The tune’s dance-ready beat knocks and bumps through minimal sample cues working in sharp hi-hat rolls and thumping drum kicks. Señor Roar tiptoe around genre conventions, playfully injecting the tune with a fresh mix of various different components, while seamlessly blurring them all together into one shuffle-primed selection.

As with all Main Course releases, “Jenga” is available for free for the next month.
