Eventbrite compiles list of millenials’ most buzzed about music venues

According to a study earlier this year, dance music fans are the most active social media users of any music genre. In fact, one in every three conversations they have via social media is related to dance music. Compared to other fans, they also post about 30% more about live events — primarily club shows and music festivals.

The findings got Eventbrite and Mashwork curious about how venues stacked up in all these EDM conversations and which ones specifically were generating the most buzz across social channels, so they conducted their own social media survey.

To come up with a list of “millenials’ most buzzed about music venues,” they gathered social media mentions for over 600 music venues in the US reaching over a time frame of one year. The results weren’t exactly shocking, with Hakkasan (Las Vegas), Webster Hall (New York City) and Marquee (Las Vegas) winning the top three slots, in that order. The top 10 are dominated by clubs in New York and Las Vegas (surprise, surprise), with Miami and Houston each scoring a victory at slots 7 and 9, respectively.
