Good Morning Mix: Spencer Brown live at Avalon
Spencer Brown’s elusive live show is one to watch for. While his touring schedule is lighter than his peers thanks to his heavy course load as a student at a top-tier university, what the Dallas native lacks in quantity he makes up for in quality; his live sets are regularly packed with new high-energy productions and exciting collaborations. Brown’s progressive sound has recently sent waves through the electronic scene with a critically acclaimed appearance on Above & Beyond‘s Group Therapy, and with a new release forthcoming on LE7ELS from the artist, the “Double Down” producer has the wind at his back.
In late October, he returned to Avalon in Los Angeles to deliver a ninety-minute set that is enjoyable from start to finish. Premiering “Avalon,” his collaboration with “Blind Heart” masterminds Cazzette, and generally sticking to his own production arsenal throughout the show, Brown shows his true colors and talent with the official release of his recent live performance.
