North American upstart Steve James has ploughed the way with a steady run of remixes throughout 2014, all pointing to a high caliber run from the promising producer. Off the heels of remodels for both Wolf Gang and Ellie Goluding, New York indie mob HAERTS are the next act to join a diverse streak of re-imaginings from the eclectic studio talent and previous ‘The Radar‘ patron. His stand on the big room sound comes finely tuned and with notable character when donned to “Giving Up,” providing the young newcomer a considerable edge in an overcrowded sound space. We may still be waiting for some original material on the approach to 2015, but in the meantime Steve James remains a definite one to watch where the high end of melodic club remixes is concerned.
