With early support form Gorgon City, Sasha, and electronic music godfather Stacy Pullen, Illyus & Barrientos have returned to Beatport with their latest original “Need Me.” This time on Glasgow Underground, the title track of the pair’s newest EP is a testament to their production capabilities. “Need Me” deploys a vocal touch alongside luscious synths that come together in a highly compatible combination. Coming off another stellar original mix on newly founded Love & Other, Illyus & Barrientos are garnering support from a wide variety of sources. Fortunately, the product lives up to the hype.
