Interscope to officially release ‘You Know You Like It’ as official collab between DJ Snake and AlunaGeorge
Parisian trap wizard, DJ Snake, rose through the ranks of the EDM ladder faster than most over the past year. Although fans might know him best for his radio-crushing single “Turn Down For What” or monstrous collab “Get Low” with Dillon Francis, DJ Snake’s remix of AlunaGeorge‘s “You Know You Like It” shouldn’t be overlooked with over 6 million SoundCloud plays and still surviving in live sets today. Interscope Records and DJ Snake have revealed that the Grammy-nominated producer has been diligently crafting new tunes for future release, but will first officially release “You Know You Like it” as a collaboration between DJ Snake and AlunaGeorge on December 8th.
The dance music classic has set dance floors ablaze the past year with its perfect fusion of mid-tempo trap breaks, groovy bassline, and slick vocal manipulation. It’s clear why Interscope would want to officially repackage the smash for everyone to enjoy. Along with the release, DJ Snake has announced a contest chock-full of insane prizes.
Fans have been asked to take pictures of themselves to create a personal cover art for the single and upload it to the song’s official site, or take a snapshot with an official “You Know You Like It” mirrored posters in LA, New York, Chicago, and Miami and share it via Facebook or Twitter with the hashtag #YouKnowYouLikeIt. For the grand prize, the winner will receive a round-trip flight and hotel stay for two in Los Angeles, as well as passes to see DJ Snake play the Insomniac Countdown New Year’s Eve in San Bernardino, California. The contest runs until December 14th.
