Kygo teases his debut single ‘Firestone’ featuring Conrad
After inking a deal with Sony music, the popular remix artist Kygo is finally ready to show the world he’s more than just a one trick remix pony. Following up impressive reworks of Marvin Gaye, Ed Sheeran, Ellie Goulding, Coldplay and many more, the prolific producer and tropical house hype machine’s first solo studio production is about to see the light of day.
Following the completion of his North American ‘Endless Summer Tour’ — including four sold out shows in New York and two in Los Angeles — the 23-year-old Norwegian teases his debut “Firestone” in the tour’s recap video. Featuring the vocal styling of 300-signed Australian singer Conrad and Kygo’s familiar yet genre-defining tropical house style, “Firestone” arrives as more than just a debut. Instead it’s a statement that one of the biggest artists of 2014 has much more than just catchy remixes up his sleeve.
The long-awaited production is set for a worldwide release on December 1st, exclusively through Spotify.
