Just a few months ago, Viceroy and Penguin Prison teamed up for an original song called “The Life.” The end result was absolutely exhilarating, so the two dance music heavyweights have decided to join forces once again. This time, Viceroy puts his spin on “Calling Out,” Penguin Prison’s most recent disco gem. Whereas the original is chock-full of quirky pop subtleties, the remix is a more straight-forward indie dance and nu disco anthem. Viceroy packs an impressive punch without forsaking his signature sound, and the end result sounds like Penguin Prison meets Viceroy meets the Twelves. In other words, it’s more or less perfect.
