See what happened at the Bacardi Triangle with Calvin Harris, Kendrick Lamar, and Ellie Goulding
Over Halloween weekend Bacardi threw one of the most exclusive and remote parties on the planet at the Bermuda Triangle. Dubbed the Bacardi Triangle, the party was headlined by a talented triumvirate of Calvin Harris, Kendrick Lamar, and Ellie Goulding. The event was only enjoyed by 1,862 specially invited guests who were flown out to the island on three private planes from the three biggest cities in the world — but we’ve got a recap so you can relive it.
In this behind the scenes supercut, Bacardi speaks with all three headliners about their careers and experiences on the island. Calvin Harris jokes about his Grammy success and his approach to production; “You know, I just make music for incredibly cool people who love awesome songs!” While Goulding, who was meant to be working on her third album, reveals that she couldn’t resist the urge to perform; “When I heard about this it was too much of a good thing to turn down.” Kendrick Lamar shares details into his creative process and his lack of interest in the radio; “I really cut off everything that’s on the radio. Because a lot of times you can be influenced by songs you like and songs you don’t like.”
