Alli Simpson – Why I’m Single (Lido Remix)
Lido was one of our 25 Artists to Watch on Dancing Astronaut’s #Big100, and his last remix of 2014 shows the world exactly why. Performing a 180° flip on Alli Simpson’s “Why I’m Single,” the Norwegian producer combines the playful pop elements of the original with his chaotic yet melodic flair to create a harmonious blend of sounds. Lido’s future bass style seems like the farthest thing from pop with it’s mishmash nature, but he proves its crossover potential just as Flume did with his signature sound. Lido already has announced his North American debut in 2015, but only time will tell what else will come from the Norwegian talent.
