Today, Next Wave introduces Australian DJ/band duo, Atlas Bound, and their spine-tingling new single, “Talk.”
Although its market thrives on its own domestically, some of Australia’s undiscovered talent remains hidden despite their refreshing styles. Atlas Bound brings a new type of sound to the table with their blend of future electronic elements and intricate indie melodies. “Talk” could be the track that turns heads in Atlas Bound’s direction. The Australian band slowly opens the track with a soothing, acoustic guitar strum to settle any environment down. The vocals sneak up on the instrumental – serenely resembling fellow Aussie, Chet Faker’s tone. The defining moment of the track enters about halfway with the heart-stopping, body-electrifying bass emitting “the feels” in every direction. Atlas Bound’s signature, hybrid sound definitely emerges unique in the dance music community, and this will definitely not be the last time we hear of them.
